Welcome

Objective and Purpose
To promote cooperation and friendship among the breeders and owners of Brittanys and to encourage higher standards in breeding, training, showing of Brittanys in the field and in the show ring; to discourage the breed from becoming split into groups of "field dogs" and "show dogs" and to strive to keep it forever a "dual dog".

Upcoming Events

A work weekend is being held at the club grounds as shown below.
We are fortunate to own our own grounds. It was with forethought that our founders purchased the grounds 50 years ago. Now it is through the support of members and friends that we are able to reduce the costs of ownership. Members are encouraged to come and help but all that are willing to work are welcome.

The July work weekend saw a lot of work accomplished by a small group of dedicated members. These members included Joe Haubach, Steve Lauterbach, Jim Skorik, Vic Mazzocchi, Dan Riedl, Steve Tubach, Ed & Sue Lehosky and John & JoAnne Bell. Even with the small turnout and inclement weather we were still able to accomplish many of our goals.

For those members that wish to participate in helping with the grounds but canot make it to work days, there will soon be a list of projects that can be done at other times posted on the newsgroup ad on the bulletin board at the clubhouse.

ROOF FUND: The clubhouse is in needof a new roof. We are now beginning a fund raising effort to raise money to help pay for this large project. Donations will be accepted at any club events or you can mail a check, payable to the PA Brittany Club, to Sue Lehosky, Treasurer, 1249 Copeland Road, Leechburg, PA 15656. All donations will be acknowledged on the club bulletin board.
You can also donate items for a raffle to be held at the field trial on October 18 & 19. Please contact a club officer if you would like to volunteer to organize the raffle.
